I’m so nervous when I walk in to the room. I’ve been waiting for this day it seems like forever. It seems my nerves are getting the best of me. And I can’t even spell my own name. My thoughts are all over the place. Finally the proctor hands the exam and I clear my mind and get ready to write the best essay I have ever written. The ACT reads: Compose a letter to the City Council asking weather we should open a recreation center for our neighborhood kids. Or open a park with more swings and slides and a basketball court. We only have enough funding for one choice. Which one would you choose and why. My decision is to create a recreational center because I feel as if the recreational center will give our children in the community with nowhere to go for homework help to come here. It will also be available to help out our pre teens in high school that needs help in their senior year for counseling to figure out what college they look forward to attending and we would also have available to our high school students is peer mediation to talk have problems that they may have and need to talk about. My plan is for during the summer we will make available a summer camp program. I correct some small errors in my essay and I close the booklet. And finally relax and walk out the room.
